Let’s find our what paragliding really is!
It is a hands on practical day to learn the ins-and-outs of the sport of paragliding.
Consider this Day 1 of your P1 Training with the option to not go any further.
This is a ground-based intruction course. You will learn pre-flight equipment procedures, launch techniques, and wing handling – all without taking off.
Course Length: 4 Hours
P1 Beginner
Get your feet off the ground safely.
Intensive course that will cover ground school on the topics of aerodynamics, regulations for flying in Canada, meteorolgy and more. This course carries a in-classroom and practical portion. Focussed on learning how to launch and land safely. Training is completed at our training hills and tow fields. Earn your HPAC P1 Rating.

P2 Novice
Take your flying to the next level, and learn how to stay up.
Time to spread your wings!
The Novice training is designed to let you build on the skills you have learned from your P1 Beginner Paragliding Course.
Includes in-classroom and practical instruction.
With this course you should start to be able to fly in thermals and lifting air. You will learn how to judge conditions with the guidance of your instructor. Your flights may start to become higher in height and longer in duration.
Instruction will be conducted on the training hill, at the tow field, and it is possible to progress to launches off higher elevation sites.
Once you are a Certified P2 Novice Pilot your flights no longer need to be under the direct supervision of your instructor!
Yes! You can complete this course and travel around the world with your own gear to fly at world class flying sites in South America, Europe, Australia, USA and more!
